”Stretch was a very powerful, meaningful experience for me, as I am sure it was for so many of the participants. Despite doing creative work concerned with gay history, sexuality and spirituality, I tangibly feel a missing sense of connection with the gay communities of Berlin. So it was a rare and enlightening experience to be in the presence of so many powerful teachers and open-hearted participants. I felt a sense of connection that I have rarely ever felt in my life.” – Benjamin
”Michel Foucault once said in an interview that we must learn to understand homosexuality as something desirable. However, our sexuality often seems to be fraught with fears and insecurities, with frustration and stress. The communication explosion on the internet, rarely allows a real exchange or even the sharing of intimacy and vulnerability. STRETCH not only creates a anxiety-free, but also a stimulating and sensitive atmosphere for communication, in which you can explore things sensually, playfully or very intensely. In no bar, club or other gay hot spot is it so simple and relaxed, yet not too superficial to meet others, and to expand one’s range of experiences so carefully and diversely.” – Heiko
